Childs Birthday Card

Here is a card that i was asked to make by a collegue at work for the next day. She was really impressed with what i came up with. My brief was a 2 year old card with winnie the pooh and tigger on it for a little girl. I definately think its fits the bill. I used some dies from go-create to cut the nested shapes (these are similar to Nestabilities by spellbinders) that pooh and friends are on in the middle of the card and where the greeting is. The only reason these nested shapes fits on this card is that the actual card is around 8" by 8" so is quite a large card. Papers used are various papers out of my stash, i cannot tell you which ones as they were loose in a box. Thank you for taking the time to visit and for any comments you may like to leave. Lizzie

Sugar Bowl Challenge No 16

Here is my entry into this week sugar bowl challenge. I think I have a christmas theme going on at the moment. This card is my first attempt at doing a 8"x8" card which i think suited this challenge quite well, Products used: - Image - Sugar Nellie Santa with Lantern Card - from stash Papers - Holly from the contemporary christmas pack by Dovecraft Snowflake paper from daisy and dandelion A winters tale pack Sentiment - from Daisy and Dandelion Die cut greeting from A winters tale pack Punch - Fiskars Holly Border Pens - Fine Liner for black lines doodled around image and a Sakura Clear Star gelly roll pen for doodled snowflakes Ribbon - Dovecraft creative ribbon. This challenge called for some doodling on the card somewhere so i came up with the idea of doodling a pattern around the outside of the circle that the image was stamped in and also doodling some snowflakes within this circle. I hope you like this attempt at the challenge as i have enjoyed doing this card. Thank you for looking and any comments you may like to leave. Take care Lizzie
