Introducing little John Alan

Evening All

I know this is not craft related but I thought you all would like to meet our new baby son John Alan.

Born by C-Section (Not by choice I will say)
On Friday 22nd March 2013
Weight 6lb 8oz

Gave us a little scare as he was sent to the Baby special care unit as his blood sugars dropped and went cold so they kept him for a couple of days.  Felt very odd not to have him by my side in hospital but he was in the best place to get him better.  We finally came home yesterday at 7pm after 6 days in hospital.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog and for any comments you may like to leave.

Thanks you cards for the Hospital

Evening all

I thought I would get ahead with making some thank  you cards for the midwives and my consultant that has been looking after me at the hospital for the last 38 weeks.  We are still not sure whether I will be having a c-section on Thursday next week or being induced on the Friday as little one was in the right position on Thursday last week but I am sure he has moved again.

So here are the cards that I have made so far: -

Digi Stamp from Digi Stamp Boutique
Centre Butterfly coloured with Promarkers
Embossed design done on my hougie board
Sentiment was computer generated using the Scriptina script.
All other card and pearls from my stash

This card was inspired by the samples made by Kerry (Pickle) over on the digi stamp boutique blog with my own little take on them. I hope Kerry I have done them justice.

I would like to enter these cards into the following challenges:-

One Stop Craft Challenge - # 220 - Anything Goes
Digi Stamp Boutique - March 13
Cute Card Thursday - challenge 260 - Anything Goes
Paper Playtime - Ch#5 - Anything Goes

First Mother's Day card.

Good Afternoon All

Well I am now in my second week of my maternity leave, little one is due on the 21st march and will either be born by C-section if he is still breach or I will be induced on that day so big changes for us this month.  I will admit that I am praying that he does turn round so I can be induced as I do not fancy a C-Section at all.

Any way that is my little news for this month and now onto the first of my mother's day cards that I need to make.
