With Sympathy

Evening all,

I have a set of stamps from the fabulous clearly besotted stamps and dies that I had not used until recently, now I am not going to bore you silly by showing each card in a separate post but as you will see each card is a colour variation of the first. There are 2 red cards as they stamped slightly different.

These are I think on of the most difficult type of cards to make but these stamps make it so easy even if they are a little different with the colour choices.

A sad start to the year

We had a very sad start to the year as our Aunty Irene died on New Years Eve.  So the card I have to share with you is one I sent over to Aunty Marian as they spent a lot of time together.

4 more cards for the Zoo

Good Afternoon All,

I have had quite a productive day today and managed to finish off another 4 of the cards to go to the Five Sisters Zoo via JoyceMc on docrafts.  This will leave me another 3 to make to reach my target of 10.

The fairy images are LOTV Diecut images which are ready coloured.
Embossing folder on the sympathy card is the sunray embossing folder.

The card I am sharing with everyone today is for a member of docrafts (Dec O Cards) who sadly passed away recently.  She will be greatly missed as she was always one of the first people to offer help or support to anyone who needed it.  May she Rest In Peace.

Thinking of you/Sympathy card for a fellow Docrafter

Evening All

Well a few days ago I found out that a fellow do-crafter wasn't well and to top it all she lost her little fur baby Ellie, who only recently was made famous by Joanna Sheens newsletter.  I was in the process of making her a card when I heard about little Ellie but i have still decided to send the card as she is Hamster mad and I do hope that she finds another little companion soon, as I am sure Holly and Ellie will send her another little one soon.

Most of the elements i have used have come from my friend Rachel who is also on do-crafts and we found the little toppers in her craft cupboard in a tin and I think they work really well.

On another sad note I too have lost one of my little fur-babies my 18 year old cat Tiger.  He will be missed but to be honest he has been living on borrowed time for the last five or six years and definitely was the best fed cat on the block as his main diet was cod fillet and chicken breast.  He is at peace now and playing with his little friend Star who passed about 8 years ago on Rainbow bridge.

Another Pet Sympathy card

Well another day and I have had to make another pet sympathy card.  Don't get me wrong I don't mind making them but in all my years of crafting yesterday was the first time I have made one and then my husband Lee phoned to ask me to make another as the Lad that works for him lost his lovely little pooch over the weekend.

Outside of Order of Service for our daughter Amy

Evening everyone

Well I am sure that most of you know that our baby daughter Amy was born asleep on the 25th August.  We allowed the hospital to do a full post mortem which was supposed to take 2 weeks but it took just over 4 weeks to get her back.  We have now had a date for her funeral which will take place on Thursday 14th October.

I decided that I would like to design her order of service and chose the Sleeping Baby Tilda stamp, a marianne die and a spellbinders die and this is what I came up with.

I have coloured the image with my promarkers in the following colours, Dusky pink, Ivory, Blush and Vanilla.

The poem was sent to me by my friend Rachel who found it on the internet and thought it fit the occasion quite well.
